COLLABORATIONS
Collaborations were key to Elizabeth's formative years with the Birubi and
Techinksi String Quartets resulting in awards such as the Royal Overseas
League Ensemble Prize and Miller Trophy and an appearance as group soloist with the Philharmonia Orchestra in London. Further award was made to her string trio Temenos in the 9th Concorso Musicale Internazionale “Riviera del Conero” chamber music competition in Italy.
In Australia, Elizabeth continues to appear in a variety of chamber collaborations including Sutherland Trio, Quercus, Flinders Quartet, Ensemble Liaison and with her partner in life Rohan Murray.
Fostering ensemble work for the next generation has also been a passion for Elizabeth and has included directorships of Monash Sinfonia (during her tenure at Monash University) and the Bertha Jorgensen Chamber Orchestra
at the University of Melbourne. Elizabeth has also worked with AYO musicians, has provided mentorship to students at Victorian College of the Arts
Secondary School and was one of the adjudicators of the first ever Musica Viva
Strike-a-chord Chamber Music competition for secondary schools in Australia.
